These garlicky, spicy chili oil noodles are so easy to make, yet they pack a ton of delectable flavor thanks to the addition of cilantro and green onions as a topping.
Ingredients for 10-Minute Garlic Chili Oil Noodles

Thick wheat noodles taiwanese sliced noodles, udon, or ramen noodles | 4 oz |
Neutral oil | 3 tbsp |
Garlic minced | 3 cloves |
Sichuan chili flakes or korean or regular chili flakes to taste | 1 tbsp |
Onion chopped, divided | 1 |
Light soy sauce | 1/2 tbsp |
Dark soy sauce | 1/2 tbsp |
Chinese black vinegar or rice vinegar, to taste | 1/2 tbsp |
Sugar, salt or chicken bouillon powder (see notes below) | 1/4 tbsp |
Cilantro, green onion, and/or toasted sesame seeds for garnish, optional |
Preparation for 10-Minute Garlic Chili Oil Noodles
- Prepare the noodles in accordance with the directions on the package. After draining, place the food in a bowl. Rinse the noodles under cold water for a few seconds before draining them to achieve a chilled presentation.
- On top of the noodles, sprinkle in some garlic, chili flakes, white portions of green onion, light and dark soy sauce, chinese black vinegar, along with some salt and sugar.
- In a saucepan, bring the oil to a temperature where it will sizzle. After adding the garlic and chili flakes to the hot oil, combine the two ingredients and stir until the noodles are equally covered. After you have garnished it, taste it and see if it needs any extra soy sauce.

This is the most incredible lunch ever. I adore how simple this dish is to prepare, and yet it manages to be so very delectable. I think the flavor is fantastic, and I give it five stars out of five. You could also try making it at home, as it is incredibly easy and it will taste even better.
