The butternut squash that has been roasted in an air fryer is cut into bite-sized cubes and is tender, sweet, and spicy. It is an excellent addition to any meal.
Ingredients for Air Fryer Roasted Butternut Squash
Ingredients | Quantity |
Small butternut squash (about 1.2 pounds) peeled and cut into ¾ inch cubes | 1 |
Extra virgin olive oil | 1tbsp |
Garlic powder | 1/2 tsp |
Salt | 1/2 tsp |
Freshly ground black pepper | 1/8 tsp |
Preparation for Air Fryer Roasted Butternut Squash
For consistent and rapid cooking, the butternut squash should be peeled and chopped into pieces measuring 3/4 inches.
Place the butternut squash in a bowl for later use. Mix garlic powder, salt, and pepper with olive oil, and then add it to the dish. To ensure that each piece is covered with the seasoning, give them a thorough toss.
Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). Place the butternut squash that has been seasoned in the basket of the air fryer and arrange them in a single layer (cook in batches if required).
Air fry them at a temperature of 380 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius) for 16 to 18 minutes, or until they are crisp and have a slightly browned edge. Give the basket a good shake around halfway through. In just 16 minutes, mine reached the ideal level of doneness.
The roasted butternut squash can now be served. It should then be placed on a serving platter and served straight away.
