Salmon seasoned with furikake and baked in the oven is soft and flakey. It is served in rice bowls with shiitake mushrooms, avocado, cucumber, and carrots, along with a honey soy dressing that is produced from scratch. This salmon meal is loaded with umami and is ready in less than twenty minutes. It’s a simple recipe that’s great for a weekday supper since it’s healthful and doesn’t take long to prepare.

Preparation for Furikake Salmon Bowls
Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper and preheating your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
To dry the salmon filets, pat them dry with a paper towel in a gentle manner. The next step is to “crust” each filet with a half to a full tablespoon of the furikake spice using your fingers.
Bake for 12 – 15 minutes, or until your desired doneness. In the meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a saute pan over medium-high heat as you prepare the mushrooms.
After it has reached the desired temperature, stir in the garlic, mushrooms, toasted sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Cook over medium heat for about 8 to 12 minutes, stirring often.
After the cooking process is complete, the mushrooms should get softer, let out the moisture, and start to become golden.
Dressing with Honey and Soy Sauce: In the meanwhile, combine all of the ingredients for the dressing in a small dish or mason jar and whisk them together. Try it out, and if you like it, add extra honey or dijon mustard. Put to the side while you concentrate on getting the bowls ready.
Assemble Bowls: When the salmon and mushrooms are done cooking, put a foundation of rice in each of your bowls and then add the other ingredients.
The baked salmon seasoned with furikake should be added next, followed by mushrooms that have been sautéed, carrots that have been ribboned, bits of cucumber, and shredded red cabbage.
Furikake spice and sliced green onion should be sprinkled on top of the dish.
Pour the honey soy dressing over the top, and then dig in!
