Citrus Tabbouleh Salad Recipe

Tabbouleh, which may also be written tabouli, is a grain and herb salad that is very refreshing and light. It is laden with easy-to-find vegetables such as parsley, cucumber, mint, and tomato, and it is dressed with a simple dressing of lemon juice and olive oil. Ingredients for Citrus Tabbouleh Salad

Preparation for Pan

  1. In accordance with the instructions provided on the packaging, soak extra-fine bulgur wheat.
  2. Remove any excess water, then pat yourself dry with a paper towel. While everything is going on, add the chopped tomato and cucumber in a large bowl along with a half teaspoon of salt.
  3. After stirring, let the bulgur wheat sit undisturbed for ten to fifteen minutes, or until it is ready.
  4. The cucumber and tomato combination should be strained to remove any surplus moisture. After that, stir in the orange, the chilled bulgur, the chopped fresh mint, and the parsley.
  5. Olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and black pepper should be mixed together in a small bowl using a whisk. After pouring it over the salad, swirl it to mingle the flavors.
  6. Try it out, then make any required adjustments to the seasonings.
  7. Before serving, make sure the tabouli salad has been covered and chilled in the refrigerator for at least 15 to 30 minutes.
