After being air-fried until they are the ideal combination of golden and crunchy, these fries are coated in garlic butter and parmesan.
Ingredients for Garlic Parmesan Fries
Ingredients | Quantity |
Russet potatoes | 2 |
Olive oil | 2 tbs |
Seasoned salt or to taste | 1/2 tsp |
Butter | 2 tbs |
Garlic minced | 2 cloves |
Parmesan grated | 2 tbs |
Fresh parsley | 1 tbs |
Preparation for Garlic Parmesan Fries
- Scrub the potatoes, then cut them into fries about 1/4 inch thick. Place in a big bowl, fill the bowl with cold water, and let soak for 30 to 60 minutes. Drain everything thoroughly, then pat it dry with a kitchen towel.
- Heat the air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit (or bake in the oven per directions in the notes).
- After giving the potatoes a toss in oil and seasoning salt to taste, place them in the basket of an air fryer.
- Cook for ten minutes, then give it a shake or flip and continue cooking for another six to eight minutes, or until it’s crispy.
- During the time that the potatoes are cooking, prepare the butter and garlic by placing them in a small dish and melting them in the microwave.
- After the potatoes have reached the desired level of crispiness, remove them from the air fryer and set them in a sizable bowl. Add garlic butter, then toss everything together thoroughly to incorporate. Toss after adding the parmesan and the parsley.
- Immediately serve after cooking.
